LMS Quilty Stitches Sampler-along

Gonna start this weekend a quilt  cross stitch sampler along that Delana might do. Every 2 weeks get new pattern very cute and small.Can't wait to get started. Will look great framed in living room.Check this out littlemissshabby.com/quilty.stitches/

Bad dog/cat?

Daily puff need 2 more to complete gold flower.

Finished cross stitch for pin cushion and started sewing box cover. Half way thru the day I decided to give thumper a bath and buzz and left my cross stitch and pop on coffee table. Now that wouldn't be a problem but had a dumb moment and forgot I have 2 cats and 2 more dogs. So came back to work on and Whatttttttt! Pop all over cross stitch.

Now pixie is to small couldn't reach it. So it was eather cats or Brandi dog Gizmo. I can't prove it but I think I know who did it! Lol

So lesson learned

DONT LEAVE PROJECTS ON TABLE WITH POP AND ANIMALS.

Called buddy Delana and she helped me figure out how to clean. Most came out but Delana said that could always tea dye when done to give more antique look. Just might do that.

Got up early 4 am. Pixie wanted to play i guess so

got puff done for day.Now the little burger is asleep and I'm full of coffee. Lol

Then decided to start putting together some of puffs.

I was able to put 3 together and half of a forth flower.I need 3 more of the gold puffs to finish 4th flower.

I have more puffs done but not all go together color wise to put flowers together.

I just decided to do it this way. I'm gonna do puff in middle of each flower a color then all 6 puffs around it will be the same.Then I'm gonna border around puffs all the same color so that flower motifs stand out.

Not sure what color to border yet. But I have a lot of time to decide.Lol

I was gonna whip stitch all together but decided to join each corner of puffs. So note  to self ( weave in all ends after making each puff!!!!) Lmao

I didn't like weaving in all the ends while joining. Took much longer cause of ends.

Its noon and I'm gonna work on cross stitch pin cushion. Want to finish that bad boy today:)

I will post pic of that tomorrow.

Posting late but got some done today even with migraine taking its toll today.
Started with pin cushion for sewing set.

Got half done and gonna finish it tomorrow.

Then I can start the sewing cover.

And also did a puff,:)

I'm back

So i'v been lazy bout posting.But my goal is to post daily. OK stop laughing Delana:) lol
Really that's my goal.
So here are some updates:
I've pulled out some of my cross stitching and embroidery projects that I started awhile ago.

 

I started this with Delana and I think she finished hers.

So I am gonna work every day at least 1 hour till done. Almost done :)

Also want to finish bird red work embroidery. It has stitches in it that my aunt taught me and also took classes with my aunt last summer. It has drizzle stitches, french knots, beads, turkey work, outline stitch and padded satin stitch and whipped web stitch in it. I will frame it in kitchen when done.

I've been posting pics of puffs on raverly project page but starting tomorrow will post daily here to.

Here is picks of shaker sewing set I started with Delana also. I think she has this done also so I wanna finish mine also.

Next 2 pics is what I have done:( Not much I know!

I really want to order Shaker sewing box to put on but expensive so gotta finish first.

confession

OK so I have been posting pics of puffs on my raverly page also but have to confess that I  am now 2 behind. So I am gonna focas on them today.
I started a little blanket for puppy. OK , OK I know I have issues. Lol
But couldn't resist.
My friend Delana has been keeping up with her puffs and I really wanna keep doing daily puffs with her.
Don't give up on me buddy:)
